Hailing from the South, I was brought up in a simple household. I never limited myself. I have always believed that I could create a large educational institution. It did happen with Velammal School and its phenomenal growth of 1,20,000 students enrolled and 10,300 staff members on board. The question that flashed in my mind, “When I could succeed, am I not ought to make my students smell success?” This quest transformed into a conviction. My formula of success has had five facets.
With the changing times, we deem it our responsibility to shape the students to be successful in global standards. The desired goal can be reached. But it demands a joint venture with parents. The Student, The Teachers (School) and The Parents make a triad with constant monitoring, providing moral support and instilling human values. In parenting, one has to make the child understand the ethics and values of commitment and hard work. The future citizen will not only perform well in academics , but also grow up as a role model for the society.Shri M V Muthuramalingam
